Acura ADX

The Acura ADX is a subcompact luxury crossover built in Celaya, Mexico since the 2025 model year, and it sits below the RDX, which Motor Trend says had been the entry point to Acura's SUV lineup. The 2026 ADX starts at $36,450, tops out at $45,850 with the A-Spec Advance package and is rated 27 to 28 mpg combined.

What the Acura ADX is

Wikipedia (opens in a new tab) describes the ADX as a subcompact luxury crossover SUV marketed by Acura since the 2025 model year, assembled in Celaya, Mexico on the Honda Architecture platform with a CVT, in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive forms. Motor Trend (opens in a new tab) says the entry point to Acura's SUV lineup in North America had been the RDX since it debuted for the 2007 model year, and that the 2025 ADX comes in three trims: base, A-Spec and A-Spec with Advance package.

Prices and economy

Kelley Blue Book base prices for the 2026 ADX are $36,450 for the front-drive base car, $38,450 with all-wheel drive, $39,650 and $41,650 for the A-Spec, and $43,850 and $45,850 for the A-Spec with the Advance package. The EPA rates the 2026 ADX at 27 to 28 mpg combined with a 1.5L four-cylinder, about $2,750 to $2,850 a year in fuel. The 2025 ADX is the launch year.

What owners report

Motor Trend ran a yearlong test of the 2025 ADX after naming it SUV of the Year and asked whether it had got that call wrong. Its update on the best and worst things about the car says the key fob is more reliable than the sometimes-slow app, though the app works from farther distances and is not exclusive to the A-Spec with Advance trim. VinItel (opens in a new tab) notes that a model needs three or more years on the road before its complaint data is reliable, so federal recall and complaint history for the ADX is still too short to rank years.
