Cars.com (opens in a new tab) says the Compass gets mostly minor changes for 2020 with modest price increases, no new safety features, two option packages now available even on the entry-level Sport, and a new North Edition special model for the cold. Mopar Insiders (opens in a new tab) adds the Safety and Security Group on Sport models and the return of the Latitude-based Altitude and Limited-based High Altitude special editions.
MotorTrend (opens in a new tab) lists a standard 7.0-inch touchscreen and six-speaker audio on every Compass, with 16-inch black steel wheels and black heated side mirrors. Kelley Blue Book (opens in a new tab) keeps a common-problems page, and its price page puts used 2020 Compasses at $13,500 for the Latitude up to $15,500 for the High Altitude.
Recalls and problems owners report
NHTSA lists one recall campaign for the 2020 Compass. 20V208000, from April 2020, covers windshield wiper arms on 2019-2020 Ram 1500 and Jeep Compass vehicles that may loosen, possibly causing the wipers to fail.
