What changed on the 2024 Dodge Hornet
MotorBiscuit (opens in a new tab) covers the 2024 changes: a new R/T trim brings a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 30 miles of all-electric range, a hands-free liftgate arrives on the R/T Plus and GT Plus, and parallel and perpendicular park assist are added. The GT and GT Plus return with a 268-hp 2.0-liter turbo four and nine-speed automatic with standard all-wheel drive, and the R/T pairs a 1.3-liter turbo four with an electric drive for 288 hp combined.
Car and Driver (opens in a new tab) quotes 21 mpg city and 29 highway for the gas Hornet and 28 mpg on its highway route, and says the hybrid's price tag highlights the relative value of the non-hybrid. Kelley Blue Book (opens in a new tab) puts used 2024 Hornets at $19,550 for the R/T up to $24,800 for the R/T Plus at a dealer.
