What changed on the 2025 Hyundai Kona

Car and Driver (opens in a new tab) says that after a thorough redesign for 2024, the Kona sees some trim-level shuffling and a new N Line S trim that slots below the N Line, and that a turbo all-wheel-drive Kona hit 60 mph in 7.5 seconds at its test track. Motor Illustrated (opens in a new tab) adds a gas 1.6T Preferred with Sport Package and an eight-speed transmission that suits the 1.6-liter better than last year's seven-speed dual-clutch.

MotorTrend (opens in a new tab) says the N Line has trim-specific 19-inch wheels, a twin spoiler and a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, with the 1.6-liter turbo and eight-speed standard, and lists a 48.6-kWh battery and 133-hp motor for the Kona Electric Standard Range. Kelley Blue Book (opens in a new tab) lists a starting sticker price of $26,045 and a Fair Purchase Price of $23,700 for the SE.
