2024 Lamborghini Revuelto

Car and Driver (opens in a new tab) calls 2024 the inaugural year of the all-new Revuelto plug-in hybrid, and Lamborghini (opens in a new tab) lists a 1,015 CV powertrain combining a new V12, three electric motors and a dual-clutch e-gearbox. In Car and Driver's test (opens in a new tab), the car reaches 150 mph in 9.9 seconds, against 13.0 for the old car, and covers the quarter-mile in 9.7 seconds at 148 mph.

The same test explains that engineers turned the V12 around and mated it to a new eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle that is only 22 inches long, replacing the old seven-speed automated manual. EPA rates the 2024 Revuelto at 12 mpg combined and $6,450 a year in fuel, with all-wheel drive.

NHTSA lists four recall campaigns for the 2024 Revuelto. 24V765000 covers a connecting rod between the passenger wiper arm and wiper motor that may bend and separate, 24V945000 covers oil circuit connection flange screws that may have been improperly tightened, 25V477000 covers door gas springs that may fail, and 26V053000 covers a software error that may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying.

EPA rates the 2024 Revuelto at 12 mpg combined and $6,450 a year in fuel. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT lists 16 to 21 at $3,700 to $4,850 and the Porsche 911 15 to 21 at $3,700 to $5,150. The Revuelto is the thirstiest of the three.
