Car and Driver (opens in a new tab) says the big news for 2024 is Adaptive Cruise Assist as standard equipment, with all-wheel drive standard and digital gauges, touchscreen infotainment and a host of driver assists. MotorTrend (opens in a new tab) adds a standard 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 8.8-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 10-speaker audio, and standard front and rear automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, side cross-traffic alert and automatic high beams.
Kelley Blue Book (opens in a new tab) lists ratings of 20/28 to 22/29 mpg and puts used 2024 Q3s at $26,800 for the 40 TFSI Premium up to $30,200 for the Premium Plus at a dealer. EPA rates the 2024 Q3 at 23 to 25 mpg combined and $2,500 to $2,700 a year in fuel.
Recalls and problems owners report
NHTSA lists two recall campaigns for the 2024 Q3. 24V251000 covers the front passenger occupant classification sensor on several Audi models, and 25V082000 covers a camera control unit error at startup on the Tiguan, Arteon and Q3.
