Ferrari Purosangue

Car and Driver says the Purosangue's roaring 715-hp V12, sultry Italian styling and four seats allow four people rather than two to enjoy the full Scuderia experience, and that despite its SUV-adjacent proportions, it captures the intangible magic present in all of Ferrari's sports cars, with a $400,000-plus price tag that far eclipses even the most expensive rival SUVs like the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. Its initial test drive alleviated any remaining doubt that Ferrari's first SUV would be a dud. Top Gear says Maranello's first-ever four-door, four-seat V12 has now spawned a Handling Speciale variant, adding quicker and more decisive gear changes especially in Race and ESC-Off modes, distinguished visually by new wheels, carbon fiber side shields, matte black exhaust tips, and a black Prancing Horse emblem.

Consequence: A loss of braking ability increases the risk of a crash.
