Q01Which Cadillac models have the most federal recalls?

Across the 7 Cadillac nameplates checked here, recall rates stay within a normal range of each other (about 2.9 recalls per model-year on average), with no single model standing out as notably higher or lower. Recall count is one input, not a purchase verdict.

About the brand

About Cadillac.

Cadillac Motor Car Division, or simply Cadillac (), is the luxury vehicle division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors (GM). Its major markets are the United States, Canada, and China; Cadillac models are also distributed in 34 additional markets worldwide. Historically, Cadillac automobiles were at the top of the luxury field within the United States, often competing with Lincoln, but have been outsold by European luxury brands including BMW and Mercedes since the 2000s.

History
Cadillac was formed from the remnants of the Henry Ford Company. After a dispute between Henry Ford and his investors, Ford left the company along with several of his key partners in March 1902. Ford's financial backers William Murphy and Lemuel Bowen called in engineer Henry M.
Lineup
Cadillac's current gasoline lineup follows the "Art and Science" design language introduced in 2000 and uses a two-letter/number naming scheme: CT-prefixed cars (CT4, CT5) are sedans, sized by number, with V-badged CT4-V and CT5-V performance variants, while XT-prefixed models (XT4, XT5, XT6) are crossover SUVs of ascending size, and the Escalade remains the brand's full-size flagship SUV, introduced in 1999 to compete with the Lincoln Navigator. Cadillac has since built a parallel, largely separate electric lineup: the Lyriq and smaller Optiq crossovers, the three-row Vistiq, the Escalade IQ (an electric counterpart to the gas Escalade), and the Celestiq, a hand-built ultra-luxury flagship sedan positioned above the entire rest of the range, each with its own high-performance V variant following the same naming logic as the gas cars. Earlier in the 2000s, Cadillac's lineup briefly included the Saab-built, Sweden-made BLS compact sedan (not sold in North America) and the full-size DTS, both since discontinued, while the STS served as the brand's flagship touring sedan between the mid-size CTS and full-size DTS before Cadillac consolidated its sedan lineup into the current CT4/CT5 structure.
